Advent - Hope

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” 

- Romans 15:13

The first weekend of Advent was Sunday the 28th of November. For this first week of advent the theme is Hope.  Hope is a state of anticipation and expectation in the life of a Christian. Hope for the Christian is a statement of certainty for us. Our hope in Jesus and in our future with Him isn’t just some gamble that we are wishing for the best. Our hope is unwavering and sure of what will be. 

God’s past faithfulness gives us reason to hope for our future. Our hope is certain that what God has promised will come to be.
