Letter from Marci

Hi Friends!

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm”

- Ephesians 6:10-13

This scripture is so comforting for me as I focus on the fact that the Lord did not leave us unequipped here on earth as we wait for His return. No part of our spiritual wellbeing is left exposed.

Praying for our children and grandchildren is one of the most important things we can do each day when we send our loved ones out into the world. It is vital that we keep them covered in prayer.

To help you to do this, I asked my talented daughter, Lizzie, to create a picture of the armor that Paul was referencing in this passage. He was referring to what a Roman soldier would have put on to protect himself in battle.

I have provided 3 different versions for you to use.  I hope you find this helpful as we study Ephesians 6:10-18 together and pray for our loved ones.

Be sure to let your girlfriends know about this resource and make sure they follow us on Facebook and Instagram too!

Blessings for you and your children!

Marci
